The care from the managers, Greg and Sue, contributed to the nice atmosfære in the camp, so did the rest of the staff. And the food; homemade meals every day! On game drives with the excellent guides, I got the chance to se lions with cubs, hyenas with cubs, herds of wild dogs, and many, many other animals. I even had a wartdog living under my tent for a while...
Thanks so much for wonderful days!

March 8, 2023Found a new favorite place in Botswana! - I visit Africa in general often just for fun/hobby purposes, and this was my first time staying here at Kadizora but definitely not my last! I’m actually going back to... read more Botswana again in July and so booking this place again as well as probably one of their sister properties (Saguni Lodge) I just LOVED it here!! I used Mack Air to get here, it’s very scenic coming in and out of the delta. The location of Kadizora is just stunning, and the accommodations were beautiful everything you’d expect for a true Out of Africa style experience! A real highlight were the camp managers Greg & Sue who were so genuine and caring, they felt like old friends! They joined us at dinner each night and I loved talking with and getting to know them. They also have two adorable and well behaved Dachshunds, named Dougie and Cecil, that were so sweet and made it feel like home as I was missing my little guy Buddy back in Florida. My guide OC who took me on the game drives each day was incredibly knowledgeable and I learned so much from him. I really enjoyed my time with him. The food was just amazing- so fresh, I felt healthier from eating there! Sue is a chef I believe and she oversees the meals, which were delicious every single time. The whole camp staff were so kind and attentive, and a real pleasure to interact with. The accommodations are beautiful and well maintained, with beautiful views as the location is just spectacular this is one of those rare gems I’ve found in my travels that just exceeds all expectations! I even saw elephants while just laying in my bed! I think anyone going to the Okavango Delta NEEDS to plan at least a few nights at Kadizora Camp trust me, you’ll be glad you did! 🙂

Private and Exclusive - Amazing wild life experiences! Excellent service and they are very flexible with food requests. The tents/rooms are very modern and upscale. There is no AC but the... read more rains kept the temperatures cool and we slept great. There are so few tents/cabins that we felt like the only ones there in Okavango delta, very surreal. Definitely a trip to remember.
January 16, 2023Amazing Safari Camp - In late September my wife and I spent three nights at Kadizora Camp. The camp was the highlight of our trip to Africa. From being greeted with a song by... read more the staff, to daily game drives, nightly dinner and drinks with other travelers, every part of the experience was more than we expected.
Greg, Sue and Matthew the camp managers made sure all our needs were met. OC, our guide, was able to spot and track animals at every turn. The staff kept our tent spotless and did laundry each day. The cooking and bar staff kept us well fed and our drink glasses full. The food was more than one could expect at a remote camp.
A typical day was an early wakeup call with a light breakfast before a morning game drive. The game drives were like being behind the camera on National Geographic with breakfast stop amidst the animals. Upon returning to camp we had lunch with rest time. After an afternoon snack it is time for a late afternoon game drive. When returning to camp, it was time for drinks, dinner and a campfire. After returning to our tent for the night, we could hear the hippos, lions, and elephants as we fell asleep.
While it would be difficult to name all of the animals that we saw, it was common to see elephants, buffalo, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, hippos, zebras, warthogs, impalas, crocodiles, etc. Many of the animals were very close to our vehicle, with most of our photos being taken with an iPhone.
My wife and I are regular travelers, this was an EXPERIENCE like no other.

Family easter weekend trip - We as a family had a great time, we met the most friendly people, the camp was great- intimate, personal and homely , amazing food and the best game drives... read more with a diverse wildlife experience. Thank you
January 5, 2023Great stay, isolated location - We had a great stay at Kadizora and would recommend.
There was Wi-Fi in the communal areas which was fast.
Our room was very large, clean and well... read more designed with hot water in the shower.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Greg (manager) was organised and efficient.
Laundry service included was a bonus.
Lunches and dinners were delicious.
The cooked breakfast if you weren’t going out on an early game drive was very good.
Early morning breakfast: could improve by providing some fruit eg banana and increase volume of porridge and chopped fruit as we like to eat once we awake even if it’s early, as otherwise waiting to eat lunch is a very long time.
Suggestions for improvement: mosquito net over the bed to avoid any animals/ insects disturbing in the night while trying to sleep. And adding a latch to the inside of the bedroom door to help feel a bit safer/ relaxed at night when trying to sleep and could hear animals roaming past and there were strong winds banging the door.
Location is nice and isolated. Lots of game drives and boat trips.
There are also elephants and hippos close to rooms that you could watch which was really nice.
Our guide Two Boy was very good, with a positive attitude and trying to spot animals.
Would definitely stay again.

The Good –
• Greg, the camp manager, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and
... read more our stay enjoyable. We truly appreciated that.
• Wine selections were very nice.
• Private, clean pool.
The Bad –
• Although dinner time was always scheduled for 7:30, it was often 30-60 minutes
late in starting, making it hard to plan around.
• Disappointed that a warm breakfast was not offered until the last morning of
our stay. All our other camps offered warm breakfast daily, along with
continental breakfast buffet. Perhaps Kadizora’s web site mentioned this
but I missed it?
• Felt a little like being at summer camp with activities choreographed.
The Ugly –
• Previous TA reviews of our guide, S****s, were good, but our experience with him
was very mixed. He was not particularly friendly; if he was in a good
mood, the drives were good. If he was in a bad mood, the drives were
terrible. I’ve learned through numerous safaris that a personable and
informative guide makes drives really special. S****s seems to
know his stuff but was not forthcoming with much information about the
animals and area. His commentary seemed canned and it felt like he was
doing us a favor by taking us on a game drive. Perhaps he’s burned out?
Blowing his nose into his hands and hat was disgusting, especially when
considering we stopped for food and beverages that he served. On our
first drive, S****s drove so fast that we were hanging on for dear life and
both paid with back and shoulder pain over the next few days. He did
slow down after Greg spoke with him so we stuck with him. To his credit,
our final game drive was great because he was suddenly enthusiastic
(probably looking forward to getting a good tip and getting rid of us) and
actually looked for animals rather than just driving around. Even so, if we
were to go back to Kadizora, we would ask to be assigned to a different
guide.
October 25, 2022Had a memorable time at Kadizora Camp. The hosts, the guides, the food—everything was terrific! - We spent 3 nights at the Camp, and loved every minute. Our guide, Sparks, was so knowledgeable and fun. We appreciated the amenities like laundry service, and the outdoor bathtub... read more was incredibly refreshing after the morning game drives. The food was amazing and imaginative. The beds didn’t have mosquito netting, and though mosquitoes weren’t terrible, a net might have been helpful. We’d highly recommend this first-rate site.

Great Expedition to the Okanvango Delta - Kadizora is reached via an appromatly 45 min flight in a Cessna 208B and a short drive in an open game drive vehicle. You are beeing met by your guide,... read more who will look after you during your stay, at the airstrip and welcomed by the whole staff with a lovely song upon arrival at the camp. The tents are really spacious with all amenities and a very comfortable bed.. Everything is tidy and spotlessly clean. There are also an outside bathtub and shower. Since the lodge is eco friendly and running on solar there is no aircon but the large fan makes easlly up for that since the tent can be opened with just a screening to one side.
The bar area, where you will be served a delicious welcome drink of appletiser, cola tonic and angostura, is overlooking the delta, so you can hear all the sounds of the african wild while relaxing and sipping your evening drink before dinner. Wifi reception there is good giving you the opportunity to do your emails and whatsapps. This is also a good spot to chat to the other guests from all over the world sharing your bush stories. Food is served around the fire place at private tables. Its is good and plentyful, since there is breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, apart from a stop with home made cookies and snacks on every game drive.
Game viewing is superb. TwoBoys is a really good and knowlegable guide with a lovely quiet humor. He usally finds the most interesting sightings before everyone else does. You will be really lucky to get him as your guide. Other than in the greater Kruger Area in South Africa you will have to cover a much large area on your drives so they can last easily five hours at a time. But this is absolutely no setback since the drives are always very special indeed.
For birdwatching and seeing hippos really up close take the afternoon sundowner boatride on the nearby okanvango sidearm. You won‘t regret ist!
Sue and Matthew are great chefs and feeding you all to well. And I have to thank Matthew for the stargazing and all the other wonderfull adventures, which mad the trip so special.
Sue and Greg are great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you all. Hope to see you again next year.

This was the highlight for me having visited Botswana for the first time. The mokoro and poler were a highlight. Our stay at Kadizora Camp was unforgettable. We were the first guests to enjoy the brand new villa, complete with its own plunge pool. I would highly recommend this... read more option if you would like some R&R after a hard day of game viewing ! The rest of the camp was also full of nice surprises - amazing decor (in the middle of the bush!), food, guides, staff and managers. A special thank you to Matthew, who managed to retrieve my lost property and had it sent all the way back to Cape Town. If you are planning a visit to the Okavango, be sure to include a stay at Kadizora.
September 13, 2022Kadizora Camp - We loved this camp best after spending a month traveling around Africa. The managers, Sue and Greg, the staff and the guides were extremely attentive. They all have... read more great senses of humor and were focused on making your stay the best possible experience. The food was amazing and they were always feeding us whether in camp or out. The mokoros and waterfoil rides added that extra layer of adventure to our experience. Don't miss this wonderful camp.

Wonderful, fabulous camp - We stayed at Kadizora Camp in August and loved every moment that we were there.
The camp is run brilliantly by Matthew who has absolutely the right touch. Very... read more friendly, great fun but gets stuff done very efficiently. While we were there there were a couple of tricky guests, Matthew coped with them with calm dignity and was extremely professional. We had a small issue (nothing to do with the camp) and Matthew sorted it out for us very quickly. Kadizora is lucky to have him.
The camp itself is very comfortable, great beds, large tents, very good bathrooms. The public seating areas are fabulous, gorgeous furniture, great bar and a wonderful dining area to eat under the stars.
The staff at Kadizora were all wonderful, super helpful and kind, everything was done with warmth and a great sense of humour. The food is extremely good (it helps Matthew is a chef himself!) inventive and delicious and a very good wine selection!
We hit gold with our guide in OC, our drives with him were so special, his knowledge of the bush, animals, trees and the whole delta was second to none. His eyesight and ability to spot game was almost unbelievable, he found everything for us and then gave us as much time as we wanted to take it all in. 5* guide. OC also makes fabulous gin and tonics for sundowners!
We took an evening boat trip with Malaki which was wonderful as well, seeing the delta from a different angle (including a croc grab a zebra!!) Again Malaki was a great guide pointing out so much especially birds that we would have missed. A fabulous way to watch the sun go down and enjoy those wonderful gin and tonics again.
- [ ] I can highly recommend Kadizora as a camp to stay in while visiting the delta and can not wait until we can return.
September 4, 2022Just the perfect place for safari! - We had a wonderful stay at Kadizora Camp with Sparks as our guide, we could not have asked for a more engaged and dedicated guide! Kadizora is beautifully located and the rooms very spacious and clean. One thing we would have loved would have been a kettle in the room for tea and coffee and a mini bar. A wonderful touch is the hot water bottle in the beds at night.
We found the staff very friendly and attentive and Sparks was such a fantastic guide. He is so passionate and caring about the animals and has a lovely sense of humour and so increadibly knowledgeable.
We loved the games drives, the Mokoro trip and were totally blown away by our boat ride down the river.
Meals were generally good with the staff taking great pride in preparation and presenting.
Thank you team Kadizora.
